Frontline PLUS Spot-on for Medium Dogs is for dogs that weigh between 10kg and 20kg including breeds such as a staffordshire bull terrier, cocker spaniel or french bulldog. FRONTLINE PLUS ®, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON kill fleas by affecting their nervous system, making them hyperactive before dying.FRONTLINE Plus® is the most advanced formula within the FRONTLINE® range of flea and tick treatments for cats. However, fleas are killed after contact with your treated pet: within 24 hours for FRONTLINE PLUS ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON, or within 6 hours for FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ®.

If they do come into contact with rain within 48 hours after treatment, it’s unlikely that they’ll get so wet that the product is washed away. Once FRONTLINE PLUS ®, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® or FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON has been applied, it’s recommended to keep your pet out of the rain and away from water (including the sea, streams, rivers and ponds) for the next 48 hours. It kills ticks within 48 hours and fleas within 24 hours and it even helps to reduce the risk of tick-borne diseases. These glands act as a reservoir, continuously replenishing FRONTLINE Plus for Dogs onto the skin and hair coat, so it keeps working even if the dog gets wet.These dying fleas often rise to the top of the pet’s coat and bounce, so if you see fleas after treatment, it’s often a sign the product has got to work.
