About this deal

To my surprise, I do like this book more than Brutal Prince. In Stolen Heir, the character develop bit more vulnerable so I can feel their chemistry. The sex scenes are mediocre. From the moment I see her, I want her for myself. Every day that passes, I become more obsessed with her. She’s seeking the answer to a mystery, and so am I… How can I make her mine once and for all?” Ohhh Mikolaj…my secret book boyfriend. He’s dark and moody and he lives in a haunted mansion. I had some real gothic Beauty and the Beast vibes writing this one. Nessa is my little ballerina Belle — smart and creative and kind. The only person who could melt Miko’s frozen heart.

Stolen Heir: Brutal Birthright, Book 2: An Enemies to Lovers

Synopsis: “My Hostage. Her Secret. Our Enemy. Taking the commissioner’s daughter wasn’t part of the plan. It should have been an easy smash and grab. Instead I captured Lara, so scared and helpless… I never want to let her go. I’m obsessed with her. She was cute, I liked her but there are some things she did that didn’t feel like her and something she did that I did not feel comfortable with. The way she was portrayed throughout the story didn’t fit in with what she did at times, they were very out of character. Synopsis: “A Star Is Strangled… Clara was Hollywood’s hottest rising star, until someone murdered her on the Paramount lot. I went to claim her body. The producers offered me a job instead. Clara and I may have looked like twins, but we’re nothing alike. I want this girl more than I’ve ever wanted anything. The problem is, she already belongs to a Bratva boss who plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder. I have to find a way to set her free. I want to be her first, and her last…”Description: “Starlet” is a Romantic Mystery set in Hollywood’s Golden Age, right at the cusp of the Second World War. It includes both fictional and real-life characters like Clark Gable and Cecil B. DeMille. This standalone novel includes steamy scenes for mature readers only. Author’s additional notes: “I knew I needed someone hot as hell to melt Riona’s icy heart. Raylan is a rancher, a soldier, and a southern boy with charm to burn. Best of all, he loves a challenge. My favorite parts to write were the fish-out-of-water scenes, when uptight Riona ends up on Raylan’s ranch. I loved finding creative ways for Raylan to use his riding crop…”

Stolen Heir: Illustrated Edition (Brutal Birthright) Paperback Stolen Heir: Illustrated Edition (Brutal Birthright) Paperback

Being put into a (pretty nice) bedroom prison, getting dressed up for dinner and waltzing, and having access to a sweet mansion (except the west wing of course)??? i've never been a huge fan of the kidnapping trope but i must say that sophie has done it so well. nothing intimate happened up until 50% of the book and thank god for that because with this trope it’s necessary to build up their relationship I wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did. It wasn't a bad book and I think if I hadn't read so many other mafia books I would have maybe enjoyed it a lot more but there just felt like there was something missing with their relationship and only towards the end are we told about their connection but I never really saw it when she was living with him. They have a few scenes but it was more physical than emotional. And listen, I'm a dancer, I love reading books where dancing is included. But this was so stupid that it did not work for me.

Nessa is the typical spoiled, mollycoddled, want-for-nothing daughter of Irish Mafia kingpin Fergus Griffin. She’s the baby of the family and treated as such by her parents, her older brother and everyone around her. Her sister Riona treats her with more like contempt than anything remotely loving because in their family business, Nessa is considered to be nothing but the frosting on a cake... she’s the bit that makes it pretty... overly sweet and nothing more than what you see. Anna and I will have a proper house with a garden, and nobody above or below us, banging and shouting at all hours of the night. Author’s additional notes: “You asked for it, you got it! I’ve never received more requests for a book. This is for all my rowdy Love Larks, because you deserve it. Sabrina Gallo and Adrik Petrov are fire and fire. Their relationship is an inferno that could burn the world down.” Standalones I was a corpse when I met you, Nessa,” he says. “No breath. No heart. No life. I felt nothing. I cared about nothing. Then I saw you, and you woke me up inside. I was such a fool at first. I was so numb that I thought that spark must be hatred. If I was a normal person, I would have realized it was love. Love at first sight. From the second I laid eyes on you.” I loved their push and pull relationship, it was so realistic how emotionless Miko was towards Nessa at first, she really was his revenge. I'm so used to this trope but most of the time the Hero instantly starts feeling guilty or soft towards the Heroine, depriving me of the hate-fueled chemistry between couples but in this book I was served ENEMIES-TO -LOVERS excellence. I loved the way Miko slowly progressed with his feelings for Nessa, how he faced the wrath of his men to protect her, and ultimately worked with Callum who he hated and wanted to kill, to prove his devotion and loyalty to Nessa in her families eyes.

Stolen Heir: A Dark Mafia Romance (Brutal Birthright

This is the second instalment in what I think is a fantastic series! I've never felt compelled to read Mafia Romance as it really isn't my thing. I decided to give Brutal Prince a go and man oh man I am hooked. I couldn't wait for Stolen Heir to be delivered to my kindle and let me tell you it has not disappointed me one bit!Stolen Heir is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast mix with Greek mythology. It is intended for NA audience so the plot/ twist is not depth. If we forget all those points, she was a pretty fun character to follow around. Her fear and all was pretty realistic in the beginning and her crying like that I would be crying too If you’re into the suspenseful, crime-induced romance genre, look no further than Sophie Lark. She is an incredibly prolific author that produced over 20 books in a span of a few years, each one greater than the other. This girl has no idea how easy she is to read. She’s never learned to put up walls, to protect herself. She’s as vulnerable as a bed of tulips. I intend to stomp through her garden, ripping the blossoms from the ground one by one."
