Description

God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars.” – Martin Luther Jesus displayed kind actions because he genuinely wanted to. Jesus was compassionate to others, and could put himself in other people’s shoes. He displayed kind actions when he felt pitiful to others. He was very selfless, and would always put others before himself. His kind actions were done, not because he wanted everyone to see that he was being kind, but because he genuinely wanted to be kind. Matthew 6:1-4 says “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets” which shows that when you do good deeds, you don’t have to show off about it. Also that if you do something, to not expect anything in return but do it because you care about them. He is also saying that helping people should be natural and that you if you do it from the heart, you shouldn’t want to be noticed. An example of when Jesus does this is in Matthew 8:1-4. Jesus goes to the mountainside and a man with leprosy follows him. He kneels before him and asks him to make him clean. Jesus touches the man and heals him from his leprosy. Then Jesus told him to not tell anyone that he was healed, but to continue on with his life. In this story, Jesus doesn’t boast about how he healed a man with leprosy, and he tells the man he healed not to show off that he was healed, and this shows that he does his kind actions because he naturally wants to, and the man had faith in him. Jeremiah 29:11 ~ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. Inspiration of Scripture in the Old Testament Exodus 20:1-3 I needed to do my current job well, keep preparing, and wait on God’s timing. I needed to trust His leadership rather than try to force an outcome I wanted.” – Tony Dungy

Do you have a relationship with God where you allow him to breathe life into the dead parts of your heart and life? Inspiration Starts with an Inconvenient Truth All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, Start with God — the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning.”– King Soloman Jesus would not judge people. Jesus would never judge people by their wealth, looks, or religion. He loved everyone no matter what and would never see anyone as less superior to him. Jesus came to earth with powers from God, yet he never took it as being more powerful to others. He could have been able to make others serve him, yet he served others because he never judged them or saw them as smaller than him. “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” This quote from Matthew 7:1-5 shows how the way you treat others is the way that other people will treat you, that God will treat you exactly the way you treat others. This is inspiring because judging others is a large problem in our society today. It is hard not to look at people and judge them by how they present themselves or what they are wearing, but we all know that it is something that we have to train ourselves not to do. Jesus is inspiring because he shows us how this can be done, and that it is possible to stop judging people. Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 3:15-15The sentence, taken according to (B), is an extremely awkward, and, as Alford admits. harsh construction, net supported in its entirety by one single parallel usage in the whole New Testament. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. And day by day, the hope of God’slightwill grow within us.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, Jesus was forgiving. Jesus would always forgive people’s sins, or anything that they regretted from the past. In Luke:36-50, Jesus went to have dinner with a Pharisee and a Sinful woman came and cried on his feet, wiped it with her hair, and then poured very expensive perfume on him. The other people who were at the dinner were very confused and asked him why he was letting this woman who was a sinner do this to him. He explained that a person who has the most to lose also has the most to gain for forgiveness. Forgiveness is very important in our lives today because one person’s mistake can have a large influence on another person’s life. Having the ability to forgive is a strong value to adopt, for it allows us to move on with our lives without having to hold anger or contempt for ourselves. People find Jesus’ forgiveness inspiring because he was able to free people’s lives, so that they can focus on the present, without regret in the past. Forgiveness allows us to live remorseless, and not hold a grudge or hurt against ourselves, for anger harms us far more than it harms the offender.

Likewise, we know that we can trust our heavenly Father because He has shown Himself trustworthy from the beginning of time. Psalm 119:90 says, “[God’s] faithfulness continues throughout generations.” He has never broken a promise, and His plans for us have always been for our good (Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, `plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope; Romans 8:28 - And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose). What’s more, God understands our weaknesses and never asks us to do anything that He won’t help us accomplish (Hebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin; Isaiah 41:10 - Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand). We can trust that even in the worst situations, He will be with us (Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble). But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, … All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness,

Keep your nose out the sky, keep your heart to God, and keep your face to the raising sun.” – Kanye West In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, And my cry for help before Him came into His ears. Another reason why the Bible is such an important book is because it contains everything we need to know about the Christian faith to live godly lives. The Bible is not just a book of stories or a history book. It is a living document that teaches us how to live our lives as Christians. God uses the holy scriptures to teach us the Christian faith so that we can grow closer to Him and experience His love and grace.

I’m just a living witness that you can be an imperfect soldier and still be in the army fighting for God Almighty. Don’t you think you got to be perfect, cause I ain’t.” – Steve Harvey Inspiration of God.--This thought, perhaps, rather than these words, is admirably paraphrased by St. Peter: "Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" ( 2Peter 1:21). The various uses of Holy Scripture in the training of the man of God are set forth in the enumeration which closes this verse. These sacred writings must, in all ages, St. Paul would urge, be the hand-book of the Christian teacher. From it he must prove the doctrines he professes; hence, too, he must draw his reproofs for the ignorant and erring. It must be the one source whence he derives those instructions which teach the Christian how to grow in grace. God is indestructible. No matter where you stand within your faith, God will always be waiting for you with arms wide open. You can never do anything to truly push God away because he will always forgive and point you towards salvation. Be honest with yourself and your Lord and Savior.
