hi ESP hey I have almost the same bike and would like to do the same electric conversation swap and would like to know if over the past 3 years anything has been upgraded? They are generally faster and have a faster piston engine, while 49cc engines are generally more efficient and have a more powerful components. My desire here is simply to educate so that we're describing things with the correct technical terms. this 49CC kit was a BIG SURPRISE how easy and how much power it has, I weigh 215lbs and it zips along around 22 mph (40 tooth sprocket).

I am also curious if with the you could include an 800w motor instead of the 1000w for mileage reasons. it's a bigger fist punching, but there's a lot to be said abt a lighter piston and how high it can rev all else being equal. by the way good luck with dh hell i got my chopper delivered by them and the whole back of the box was crushed and i had to get replacment parts for half the dang bike plus there were parts missing out of the box! I was hoping I'd get 30+ mph, but if I go beyond 20mph, engine rattles like crazy and nuts/bolts start falling out.x 24 TPI threads for the freewheel to mount onto it, and I see that it is not threaded to accept a freewheel so I so not know of any way to mount one to it. but a longer stroke making them have a bigger cc rating and some have the same stroke but a bigger piston dia. If you play around on the calculator with the weight of the vehicle you will notice that it has no effect on the power that is required on flat ground to propel a vehicle at any speed. the problem is that a lot of the engines stamped 48 and 49cc are actually 72cc, when you remove the head you can measure the bore size and you will notice that almost every engine stamped 48cc that I have come across is actually 72cc.

This kit comes with all the components you'll need to convert a compatible bicycle into a motorized bicycle. Great fuel economy, low noise, less surprises from motorists that aren't expecting a bicycle to be doing 30+. Drag (air resistance) will be the biggest speed limiting factor so if you sit straight up the bike will go slower and if you crouch down the bike will go faster. To answer the earlier question that it takes more than bore size to determine the size of the engine, the answer is of course it does unless we already know what each size engine uses and the bore will tell you which model you have without having to measure the stroke. Also, I am unsure how to connect the fuse to the battery pack and in general, wiring the fuse, key switch, battery pack, and controller together. Sorry hellboy i wasn't trying to poke fun at you sometimes i just can't help to be a smart A** I wasn't trying to insult you at all, i know how impatient you can be waiting for a new bike I'm on my 3rd bike and everytime i get a new one i try to find out as much info in advance as i can don't take it to heart i was just messin with ya a little, it will be very obvious when you get the bike like i said it's on the left side down low on the block and mine actually had a long white sticker on the top of the motor on the transmission case that had a real long number on it but the serial number was the very first part of the number on the sticker so check both places and let us know what it says also look at the number cast on the head. This is on the block generally you can find a casting on the head as well but sometimes they miss with that before they ship the bikes.

The 50cc engines seem to run smoother at higher speeds, but this could vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Since the pocket bike looks fairly small a 36 Volt system might be best way to go so there are only three batteries on the bike, as opposed to four batteries for a 48 Volt system or 5 batteries for a 60 Volt system. Come join the discussion about performance, modifications, wiring, classifieds, troubleshooting, maintenance, reviews, and more! Also, will the predicted battery time /mileage be increased Significantly in general from coasting, and if so by how much? Each BBR Tuning bicycle engine kit comes with a digital installation guide that takes you step by step through installing, adjusting, and fueling your brand new engine kit for the ride of your life. of the sellers have no idea what they are talking about and put too much jibberish out there that people listen to. To choose the sprockets for the fastest gear ratio the power of the motor and speed that it can propel the bike need to be calculated. However frame geometry can still be very different depending on model and manufacturur for the same size seat post tube.
