This compressor technology for lack of a better description allows you to jam much more into the case than other options out there. Much like the other Citadel cases, the Battle Figure Case is a well-made case that’s suited for any 40K player. Although the foam is flexible, it doesn’t feel like it's going to break as you move the miniatures from the case to the battlefield and back again.

You’d have to be infantry heavy for sure, which is pretty typical in 8th anyway, but it would be a tight fit – as you said. Citadel Battle Case (medium) The Citadel Battle Case carries nearly half the number of models (measured by volume) than the Crusade Case. Especially as the trays included in the medium sized case aren’t tall enough the house the full height of a tank.Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. On the other hand, if you have a small army for a skirmish game such as Kill Team, you might find the smallest of the three cases more optimal for the ground troops you’re running. I know people who use this Citadel case regularly for pewter metal models, including the bigger warjacks from Privateer Press. It holds the models tightly, but doesn’t press on the weapons or strain any of the spindly ethereal plastic that sticks out of particular models. For more options for taking your painted miniature armies with you, check out this article for more army transport options. It’s more work attaching magnets and with a lot of models the whole thing is very heavy (you need metal plates inside the case).I have one case of this but right now I think i can finde better case solutions for less money considering what I have to carry around. To keep things simple, I review using details of largest of the Citadel army transport case systems, the Crusade Case. Packing and unpacking the case is absurdly quick and easy; any model, however pointy, placed anywhere within the channels will be protected as well as if youd spent countless hours hacking away at a custom fit. While I’m very happy with my purchase of the Crusade case (it appears to be a good value), I own a glue gun and a roll of duct tape.

Containing one set of our revolutionary channel foam, the Citadel Crusade Figure Case has been specially designed to fit almost any model that we make, any shape and size, quickly and easily without the chore of cutting and shaping to fit. Have a look at the images or check out the video in the tab to the right to to get a taste for just how life-changingly excellent these cases are - you won’t be able to work out how you lived without them. Packing and unpacking the case is absurdly quick and easy; any model, however pointy, placed anywhere within the channels will be protected as well as if you’d spent countless hours hacking away at a custom fit.Although it doesn’t look like the largest storage solution out there, this case definitely has a lot to offer under the hood. Practical, sturdy, and with a unique foam system, for the most part can transport most, or even your entire army. Now, a question does come up: Would the Crusade case fit my Warmachine/Hordes models or other wargaming miniatures? While smaller than the Crusade case, the battle case's smaller cousin, the skirmish case, stacks neatly on top of it. The Crusade Case is made of a soft, pliable but seemingly durable plastic, that closely snugly with the foam inside.
