Description

Fleur Delacour has the special ability of being a quarter veela. This means she is able to attract men using only her beauty. She can’t make them enter into a euphoric state like what was witnessed during the Quidditch World Cup when Bulgaria played Ireland, but she is still beautiful enough that she can make all of those in a given radius enchanted by her physical attraction.

While there is much talk in the seventh book about allegiances and awareness by the wands, it is never meant to be an indication that wands are alive. Like Muggle computers, the fact that a wand behaves in a particular manner may make it seem alive, but it remains inanimate and unthinking. A good indication of this is the way the Elder Wand shows allegiance to Harry; after all, it was not Harry who disarmed Dumbledore, but Draco. However, Harry is now carrying Draco's wand, which had itself transferred its allegiance to Harry when he wrested it from Draco. So the Elder Wand, rather than a specific person, apparently senses the holder of the wand that performed the successful charm as the one to whom it owes allegiance. Fleur Isabelle [19] Weasley [20] (née Delacour) (b. c. 1976- 1977) was a French quarter- Veela witch, one of the daughters of Apolline Delacour and her husband, the other daughter being the younger Gabrielle. Fleur attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. During the 1994–1995 school year, she was Beauxbatons' champion in the Triwizard Tournament. Fleur competed bravely, but the Tournament ended in tragedy with the murder of Cedric Diggory and the return of Lord Voldemort.Ron Weasley (who would later become Fleur's brother-in-law) usually made a fool of himself in attempts to get Fleur to notice him and kiss him on the cheek. Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger usually remarked on this being " pathetic". Fleur Isabelle Delacour is a talented part-Veela witch who was the Beauxbatons champion for the 1994-1995 Triwizard Tournament ( GF16). She married Bill Weasley in August 1997. Triwizard Tournament and Hogwarts

Fleur: " It would take more zan a werewolf to stop Bill loving me!" Molly Weasley: " Well, yes, I'm sure, but I thought perhaps — given how — how he —" Fleur: " You thought I would not weesh to marry him? Or per'aps, you hoped?" — Discussion of Fleur and Bill's love for each other [src] Fleur took a part-time job at Gringotts in London (summer 1995) to improve her English. She dated Bill Weasley ( OP4) for about a year before they became engaged during the summer of 1996. As with every kind of guest-involved interactive experience, it’s not a guarantee that you’ll be chosen. However, there are a few tips for getting chosen to partake in the wand-selection process. In most cases, guests who are wearing Harry Potter gear such as wizarding robes tend to get selected at a higher rate – especially if they’re wearing Gryffindor colors. We don’t actually know if they inherited specific characteristics, but at one point, Harry Potter points out that Fleur is part Veela which he uses to explain away Ron’s bad behavior in her presence. It would also explain Arthur’s silly behavior in the presence of Fleur’s mother. Veela Appearances in BooksFleur is part of the celebration that ensues when Lupin arrives to report that Tonks has had her baby.
