I use a shadow base with all eyeshadows, but the way these shadows blended on top of it was phenomenal! What you have to remember about this palette, and all of the ones in this line, is that they are themed, and so you aren’t going to get a huge variety of shades with it. PRO TIP: Set primer with a light dusting of Invisimatte Blotting Powder to speed up the drying process. They’re relatively pigmented and super easy to blend, but on finger swatches some of the shades are a little patchy and I feel like they do take a little while to build up on the lid. I was a little surprised because the Desert Dusk palette fell flat for me in terms of quality, but this one seems like leagues above in quality.

The pigmentation isn’t the most intense, but it’s buildable, smooth and a nice formula for every day which makes a welcome change to the more patchiness I found with the mauve palette.
