Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. However, be sure to break it down into manageable chunks (around 10-20 words each time) as the list is long. We knew our son needed a much better vocabulary to do well in the Birmingham 11 Plus Exam but we didn't really know where to start.

Schofield and Sims do the same job much better but then one needs to go through series of all their books in English and there are lots of them, however if you need to do the same job quickly then this is the book for you. This super-helpful text offers word roots, prefixes/suffixes, word usage, synonyms/antonyms, related words and more – everything your child needs to enhance their vocabulary knowledge. When your child asks the meaning of a word, use words that they already know to explain and illustrate it. The 11 Plus English exams come in a variety of formats, depending on the local area and the school requirements.
