I couldn’t find any power settings for the robot; it just cleaned at the default power setting. The only option to boost cleaning is to change the mode from Automatic to Dual-pass, letting the iRobot Roomba i7+ cover each part of your home in two sweeps. In Automatic mode, the robot will do two sweeps for smaller rooms and one sweep of a larger area. The dust bag in the clean base is large and takes quite a long time to fill up, depending on how dirty your home is. If you have pets, it’ll fill up much faster.

This way, the Roomba i7+'s overall height of 9.3 cm is slightly lower than many of its competitors. When the iRobot Roomba i7 came out, it wasn’t possible to create no-go zones. iRobot released an update for that afterwards, which is why the virtual wall is kind of out-of-date these days :) While the Clean Base doesn’t take up any more floor space than a regular charger, it’s significantly higher and won’t fit under furniture, so you need to place it somewhere out in the open. You can send the iRobot to clean a specific room, let it vacuum your bedroom first and then your living room. You can tell Roomba i7 Plus to clean your living room in the evening. The device has an excellent finish and looks very classy. The materials used seem to be of very high-quality. What you get here is regular maintenance cleaning: the Roomba i7+ will cope with most daily spills, but you’ll need to take out your standard vacuum cleaner once a week or so to fully deal with your home. The robot looks excellent - that’s for sure. Nevertheless, it would be better if there were also other colours.
