These children urgently need to catch up, so the gap between themselves and their peers does not widen.Little Wandle is only Letters and Sounds repackaged after the DfE admitted the original version wasn't fit for purpose so most of the phonic books written to match Letters and Sounds should be suitable. Our training is available online and on-demand throughout the year and we run Welcome Zooms and Reading Leader training every week to get schools started. If one of them is stuck for an idea, the other usually comes up with something or makes a cup of tea.
