I have wondered how this works… I even picked one up at Hobby Lobby to purchase, but thought it looked super confusing and so put it back.

As I get older, I have less strength in my hands but with the crop-a-dile I find it doesn't take much effort to punch through card and even chipboard. I know that when I tried out the mini blind tutorial, I was so glad to have the CAD - I wouldn't have enjoyed having to punch all those holes one a time, but the CAD went straight through the whole pleated blind. You could make a box where you put the ribbon inside and don’t use dowels, like those squishy clear ribbon boxes with the holes all over it. I cut a long, narrow “U” shape in a piece (my piece was 3″tallX4″wide) of foam board about halfway down the height of my photo box. This exclusive new model is presented in a case with golden handle and transparent frame with golden spots.

The original Crop-a-dile has a separate punch mechanism that makes it easy to see down the barrel to line up your punching. We R Memory Keepers has a great variety of designer and unique eyelets to give you lots of options with this setter. I'm glad I got the Big Bite for the times I need it, but there's no doubt that the regular Crop-a-Dile is the one I use 95% of the time, so unless you anticipate needing the extra reach, I'd definitely go for that. I'd get the big bite (I've got the original and use it fairly often) if you plan to use it just at home- they're pretty hefty to carry around. I thought the “squishy” holders would get the ribbon all tangled too, maybe they don’t but I can’t see how they wouldn’t.

I had difficulty lining up the punch mechanism as this design makes it more difficult to see the area. they're ABSOLUTELY SILENT unless of course you manage to get your finger in the masher part while punching your paper (been there, done that and it HURTS) in which case there may be some cursing and yelling going on. I have them on free hanging dowels only to have them unravel if someone forgets to secure the ends back up (I have 3 teen-preteen girls that also scrapbook). I am only a cardmaker but have all the stuff to scrapbook so if I do decide to do some, I have the tool! In addition to complying with OFAC and applicable local laws, Etsy members should be aware that other countries may have their own trade restrictions and that certain items may not be allowed for export or import under international laws.I would think -for -me the smaller grip one would be better but my question would be how strong a grip do you need to squeeze it? As a global company based in the US with operations in other countries, Etsy must comply with economic sanctions and trade restrictions, including, but not limited to, those implemented by the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the US Department of the Treasury. The depth gauge demarcates the distances from the edge of the paper to which we’re going to drill up to 15,25 cm.
