Day Care

Broadway Lodge offers a 12 Step Day Care Programme for people living in North Somerset with a history of illicit drug use and wanting to abstain.  The programme is free and is in two parts: 

Getting Started Programme

The aim is to help people stabilise and prepare for detox and/or the full day programme.    

Content includes:

• Understanding Addiction
• Introduction to Recovery
• Introduction to the 12 step programme
• Cycle of change
• Motivational therapy
• Goal setting 

Clients will be expected not to use drugs or alcohol (other than prescribed medication) on the morning that they attend groups.  

Day Programme

The Day Programme aims to support people in setting and working towards goals that will help them in establishing and maintaining a quality recovery. Particpants will be expected to complete assignments and workshops including:

• The 12 step programme
• Relapse prevention
  
• Self-esteem and Confidence building
  
• Emotional management
  
• Self-defeating cycles of behaviour
• Relationships
• Introduction to Education, Training and Employment (Community Resources)
